This Cookie Policy explains how malleablesoft.in may use cookies and similar browser technology. The actual consent banner and scanner configuration must match this Policy before optional analytics or marketing tools are enabled.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored by a browser. Similar technologies may include local storage, pixels, tags and server identifiers. They can support security, preferences, measurement and marketing.
2. Categories
- Strictly necessary: security, session, consent-choice, form, load-balancing or commerce functions required for a requested service. These should not be used for unrelated advertising.
- Preferences: remember optional choices such as language or display settings.
- Analytics: measure page use, downloads and successful enquiries so we can improve the site. Analytics should follow the configured consent rules.
- Marketing: measure or personalize advertising across services. Malleable Software should not activate this category until the tool, purpose, provider, retention and consent behavior are documented.
3. Current measurement design
The website theme can emit a resource-download event when a visitor downloads a checklist. The event is sent to Google Analytics only if the analytics library has been deliberately configured and is available. Theme support for an event does not itself install Google Analytics or authorize tracking before consent.
4. Your controls
Where a consent tool is used, you may accept or reject optional categories and later change the choice through the cookie-settings control. Browsers can also delete or block cookies. Blocking necessary storage may prevent forms, account, checkout or security features from working correctly.
5. Provider information
Before production launch, the cookie scanner must identify active cookie names, providers, purposes and durations. The consent platform should generate or maintain the detailed cookie table. We do not list hypothetical cookies as though they are active.
6. External and product sites
Embedded or linked services may set their own technology subject to their policies. MS Reach and other product websites may use different cookies and provide separate notices.
7. Changes and contact
We may update this Policy when the site or providers change. Questions may be sent to vinayak@malleablesoft.in.
Launch requirement: Run a production cookie scan, categorize every active technology, configure prior consent where required, add a persistent settings control and update this page before enabling optional analytics or advertising.
